Criteria

What We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in:

  • Original choral compositions (SATB, SAB, SSA, TTBB, and other voicings)
  • Sacred music across all Christian traditions
  • Works that reflect African musical heritage and contemporary expressions
  • Liturgical settings (Mass settings, motets, anthems, psalms)
  • Contemporary worship arrangements
  • Compositions in African languages as well as English, Latin, and other languages
  • Both accompanied and a cappella works

Submission Requirements

To be featured on ChoralChristian.org, please provide the  following.

  1. Composer Information
  • Full name and professional title
  • Professional picture for profile,
  • Biography (including birthplace, background, and musical journey)
  • Current position/affiliation
  • Contact information (email, phone/WhatsApp)
  • Social media handles (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Professional photo (optional but encouraged)
  1. Professional Experience
  • Summary of your work as a composer, conductor, or music director
  • Teaching experience and educational background
  • Notable achievements, awards, or recognitions
  • Musical instruments you play
  • Previous and current appointments
  1. Compositions
  • Title of each work
  • Digital score (PDF format preferred)
  • Voicing (SATB, SAB, etc.)
  • Duration (if known)
  • Language(s)
  • Accompaniment requirements
  • Brief description or program notes (optional)
  • Performance notes (optional)

You retain all copyrights to your compositions. ChoralChristian.org serves only as a platform for showcasing and distributing your work.

Yes! You can submit new compositions and update your information at any time.

We accept PDF scores. If you have Finale, Sibelius, or MuseScore files, you can submit them as well.

While our focus is African composers and African-inspired choral music, we welcome submissions from any and all music traditions.
