Partner with Choral Christian

Choral Christian is an independent publication covering choral Christian music — hymnody, classical sacred repertoire, African choral music and contemporary Christian music. Our readers are choristers, directors, church musicians, composers and students: people who sing this music weekly and who buy scores, recordings and tickets because of it.

We are glad to work with organisations who share that audience, and we are careful about how we do it.

Ways to work with us

  • Sponsorship. Support a section of the publication or a season of coverage, acknowledged on the pages it funds.
  • Advertising. Display placements for publishers, festivals, choirs, ensembles and music retailers.
  • Institutional partnership. Ongoing arrangements with conservatoires, choral associations, publishers and festivals, including coverage of concert seasons and new editions.
  • Review copies. Send us recordings, scores and new editions. We cannot promise a review, but everything we receive is considered.

What we will not do

Editorial coverage is not for sale. We do not accept payment for a review, a profile or a favourable verdict, and we do not let a sponsor see a piece before publication. Anything that has been paid for is labelled as such, plainly and on the page itself, so a reader is never left guessing whether they are reading an opinion or an advertisement.

This matters more to us than any single placement. A publication about music that people sing in worship has to be trustworthy first.
